Build the HRMS the world uses
Horilla is used by 50+ companies and 11,000+ open-source contributors worldwide. We're a small, focused team in Kochi building software that genuinely makes HR work better for real people at real companies.
How we work
The principles that guide how we build, decide, and treat each other.
Open by default
Horilla is open-source and so is our culture. We share work-in-progress, we document decisions, and we build in public when we can.
Real problems only
We build for the HR teams who actually use Horilla — not to impress investors or pad a feature list. If it doesn't solve a real problem, we don't build it.
Deep ownership
Every team member owns a meaningful piece of the product. We don't have "just following requirements" culture — you understand the why behind everything you build.
Sustainable pace
We build things that last. That includes our team. No death marches, no hero culture. We ship consistently because we work sustainably.
Learn constantly
The HR software space moves fast. We invest in learning — conference budgets, book budgets, dedicated learning time for everyone.
Direct & kind
We give clear, honest feedback without being unkind about it. We assume good intent, raise concerns early, and resolve disagreements with data.

Contribute before you apply
We read GitHub contributions more carefully than CVs. If you want to work at Cybrosys on Horilla, the best way to start is to pick an issue from our backlog and submit a pull request.
