How to Access and Use Skill Zone in Horilla HRMS

1. Accessing the Skill Zone
In your Horilla HRMS dashboard, head over to the sidebar.
Click on Recruitment (marked as 1 in the image).
Under Recruitment, select Skill Zone (marked as 2).
This will take you to the main Skill Zone management page, where all existing skills/talents are listed.
2. Creating a New Skill Zone
Click on the Create button (marked as 3 in the image).

A form will appear where you can enter the name of the new skill, talent, or specialization.
- Examples: UI/UX Designer, Python Developer, Sales Strategist.
- Creating skill zones makes it easy to group candidates based on their core competencies.
- And finally, click on the save button to add the skill zone.
3. Adding Candidates to a Skill Zone
After you’ve created a Skill Zone, you’ll see it listed (like Designer, Social Media Influencer, and PHP in the image).
To add candidates to a specific Skill Zone, click the Candidate Icon next to the Skill Zone name (marked as 4 in the image).

A form will appear, Select the candidates you want to assign to that skill zone.

Now, whenever you open that particular Skill Zone, you’ll find all the candidates neatly grouped under it!
Additional Actions You Can Perform

- Edit a Skill Zone name (click the edit icon Marked as 5 on the image)
- Archive skill zone (Marked as 6 on the image)
- Delete a Skill Zone (click the delete/trash icon) if it’s no longer needed (Marked as 7 on the image)

Search and filter through Skill Zones using the Search and Filter options at the top.
This ensures your talent database stays clean, updated, and highly usable.
