1. Select ‘FAQs’ from the Helpdesk in the Horilla Sidebar

Start by navigating to the Helpdesk section in the Horilla HRMS sidebar. Here, you’ll find the ‘FAQs’ option, which allows you to create and manage all your frequently asked questions.

2. Create an FAQ Category Using the ‘Create’ Button

Click on the ‘Create’ button to add a new FAQ category. You will be prompted to fill out a form to define the category. After filling it out, save the category to proceed.

  • Category Name: Choose a relevant name for your category (e.g., “Leave”, “Payroll”).
  • Description: Provide a brief description of what this category will cover.

Once saved, the new FAQ category will be available for organizing your questions.

3. Search for Questions Within FAQs

Use the search bar to find specific questions within your FAQs. When you type a keyword, it will suggest all questions related to that term. This allows users to quickly find relevant FAQs without scrolling through all available questions.

4. View FAQ Cards in the Category

Once a category is created, you’ll see a card that represents the category.

5. Edit or Delete FAQ Categories

To make changes or delete an FAQ category, simply click the three dots on the category card. From here, you can either edit the category or delete it altogether.

6. Click ‘View FAQs’ to Navigate to FAQs

By clicking the ‘View FAQs’ button, you will be taken to the page showing all the questions listed within that category.

7. Search and Filter FAQs Based on Tags

Within the FAQ section, you can search for specific questions and answers by using keywords or filter based on tags. This helps employees find the information they need quickly and efficiently.

8. Create FAQs Using the ‘Create’ Button

To add a new FAQ, click on the ‘Create’ button. You’ll be prompted to fill out a form for the new FAQ.

  • Question: Enter the frequently asked question.
  • Answer: Provide the corresponding answer.
  • Tags: Select tags to categorize the FAQ. You can choose multiple tags, or even create new ones directly from here. Tags help organize FAQs based on topics (e.g., “Leave”, “Payroll”, “Benefits”).

9. View the FAQ Question and Answer

After saving, the new FAQ will appear in the list. When you click on a question, the corresponding answer will be displayed below it.

10. Edit or Delete FAQs

You can easily manage FAQs by clicking the edit or delete icons located on the right side of each question. The edit icon allows you to modify the content, while the delete icon removes the FAQ if it’s no longer needed.
