1. Start Adding an Asset:
- To add an asset under a category, click the Actions button of the specific category and select Create.
2. A form will pop up as shown below.

- Fill in the Asset Details:
- Asset Name: The name of the item (e.g., “Dell Laptop” or “Office Chair”).
- Description: A brief detail about the item, such as its features or purpose (e.g., “15-inch laptop for employee use”).
- Tracking ID: A unique identification code for the asset to track it easily (e.g., “ASSET1234”).
- Purchase Date: The date the asset was bought.
- Cost: The price paid to purchase the asset.
- Status: The current state of the asset, like “In Use,” “Available,” or “Not- Available”
- Batch Number: A code used if the asset is part of a batch or group of similar items.
- Expiry Date: The date when the asset is no longer usable or valid, often used for perishable or limited-lifetime items.
Once the details are complete, click Save.
View and Manage Assets Under a Category:

- To view all assets within a category, click on the category’s name. This will display a list of all associated assets along with their details.
- Use the Actions column next to each asset to:
