How to create a request

1. Accessing the Leave Menu:

  • Open the Horilla HRMS System and login to your account.
  • Look for the main menu, typically located on the left side or top of the screen.
  • Find and click on the “Leave” option in this menu.
  • Once clicked, a dropdown or expanded menu will appear.
  • In this expanded menu, locate and select “My Leave Request”.

2. Viewing Leave Types:

  • After selecting “My Leave Request”, you’ll be taken to a page displaying your leave information.
  • On this page, you’ll see various containers, each representing a different leave type assigned to you.

    a. Available days: The number of days you can currently take for this leave type.
    b. Carryforward days: Any unused leave days from previous periods carried over.
    c. Total days: The sum of available and carryforward days, representing your total leave balance for this type.

3. Creating a Leave Request (Method 1 – Via Leave Type):

  • From the leave types display, click on the specific type of leave you wish to request.
