Complete Guide to Company Information Settings in Horilla CRM
Managing your company information effectively is crucial for any CRM system. Horilla CRM provides a comprehensive Company Information section where you can configure all essential business details. This guide will walk you through each tab and setting available in the Company Information module.

To access the Company Information settings:
- Click on the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top navigation bar
- From the settings menu, click on General to expand the section
- Select Company Information
You’ll see six main tabs: Details, Fiscal Year, Business Hours, Holidays, Currencies, and Recycle Bin Policy. Let’s explore each one in detail.
1. Details Tab
The Details tab contains your fundamental company information that identifies your organization within the CRM system.

Basic Company Information
Company Profile:
- Company Logo: Upload your company logo displayed as a circular icon
- Company Name: Enter your organization’s name
- Contact Number: Add your primary business phone number
- Fax Number: Include fax number if applicable
- Email Address: Your primary company email
- Website: Your company website URL
Location Details:
- Country: Select your country from the dropdown
- State/Province: Specify your state or province
- Address: Enter your complete physical address with postal code
- Time Zone: Set your company’s time zone
- Language: Choose your preferred language
Business Information:
- Currency: Default currency for transactions
- Annual Revenue: Enter your company’s annual revenue

Editing Company Details
Click the edit icon (pencil) in the top right corner to modify any of these details. Make your changes and save to update your company profile.
2. Fiscal Year Tab
The Fiscal Year tab allows you to configure how your company tracks financial periods throughout the year.

Standard Fiscal Year Configuration
For a standard fiscal year:
Basic Settings:
- Fiscal Year Type: Standard Fiscal Year
- Start Date Month: January
- Display Fiscal Year Based On: Starting Year
Custom Fiscal Year Configuration
If your company follows a non-standard fiscal year, you can create custom configurations:

- Click Manage Fiscal Year
- In the Fiscal Year Configuration modal, select:

Preview Calendar
Click Preview Calendar to see a visual representation of your fiscal year configuration. The calendar displays all quarters with their respective months, showing:

- Quarter 1: January, February, March
- Quarter 2: April, May, June
- Quarter 3: July, August, September
- Quarter 4: October, November, December
3. Business Hours Tab
The Business Hours tab helps you define when your company operates, which is essential for scheduling, availability tracking, and customer expectations.

Adding Business Hours
Click Add Business Hour to create a new schedule.

Business Hour Form Fields:
- Name: Give your business hours configuration a descriptive name
- Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone from the dropdown
- Week Start Day: Choose which day starts your work week
- Business Hour Type: Select from:
- Custom Hours for varied schedules
- Same Hour Every Day for consistent schedules
- Timing Type: Configure if hours remain the same or vary by day
- Weekdays: This field appears for custom hour configurations
- Default Start Time: Set the standard opening time
- Default End Time: Set the standard closing time
- Is Default: Toggle to set this as your default business hours
- Is Active: Toggle to activate this business hours schedule
Action Buttons:
- Save and New: Save the current entry and create another
- Save: Save and close the form
You can create multiple business hour configurations for different departments, locations, or seasonal schedules.
4. Holidays Tab
The Holidays tab allows you to maintain a calendar of company holidays that affect scheduling and availability.

Adding Holidays
Click Add Holidays to create a new holiday entry.

Holiday Form Fields:
- Holiday Name: Enter the name of the holiday
- Start Date: Select when the holiday begins
- End Date: Select when the holiday ends
- All Users: Toggle to apply this holiday to all employees
- Recurring: Toggle if this holiday repeats annually
For Recurring Holidays:
- Holiday Frequency: Choose from:
- Monthly
- Yearly
- Custom patterns
- Monthly Repeat Type: For monthly holidays, specify:
- On the Day of a specific date each month
- On the Day of the Week
- Day of Month: Enter the specific day if applicable
- Monthly Interval: Set how many months between occurrences
Action Buttons:
- Save and New: Add multiple holidays in succession
- Save: Save and close the form

5. Currencies Tab
The Currencies tab enables multi-currency support for international business operations.

Currency Management Overview
Default Settings:
- Default Currency: Displays your primary currency
- Enable Multiple Currency: Toggle to activate multi-currency features
Currency Table Columns
The currency management table displays:
- Currency Code: Three-letter ISO code
- Currency: Full currency name
- Default Currency: A Checkbox indicating the default currency
- Number grouping format: Display format

Click the three-dot menu in the top right for additional options:

- Dated Exchange Rates: Set historical or future-dated exchange rates
Managing Dated Exchange Rates
For businesses needing historical currency data:

- Click Dated Exchange Rates from the menu.
- In the modal, you’ll see:
- Default Currency: Your base currency
- Start Date: Select the date for this exchange rate
- Active Currencies: List of currencies with input fields for rates

- Default Value: 30 days
- Configuration: Enter your preferred number of days
- Action: Click Save to apply changes
