Horilla is a product of Cybrosys Technologies — a 500-person engineering company from Kerala, India. We've been building open-source enterprise tools since 2013. Horilla is our most ambitious: a full HRMS and CRM, purpose-built for growing teams worldwide.

From Odoo partners to HRMS builders
Cybrosys Technologies started in 2013 as one of the earliest Odoo implementation partners in South Asia. Over a decade, we implemented ERP systems for hundreds of companies — manufacturing, retail, professional services, hospitality. We saw the same problem everywhere: HR and sales software was either too expensive, too generic, or too hard to maintain.
In 2021, we started building Horilla — an open-source HRMS designed from the ground up for modern teams. Not a rebrand of something older, not a feature parity clone. A product built with the specific belief that HR software should be free to adopt, easy to extend, and honest to price.
In 2023, we launched Horilla CRM to give sales teams the same experience: a focused, opinionated tool that does pipeline, leads, and forecasting without trying to also be your ERP. Today, both products are actively used by 11,000+ teams across 40+ countries.
Horilla is dual-licensed: open-source under LGPL-2.1, and available as a managed Cloud service for teams that want zero ops. We believe open-source is a competitive advantage, not a charity — it means you can inspect, audit, and extend every line of code you run your business on.

Open source, always
Every line of Horilla's core is LGPL-2.1 licensed and publicly auditable. We will never close-source features that were once open. Open-source is a promise, not a tactic.
Honest pricing
No per-module fees, no seat minimums, no surprise charges. Self-hosting is free forever. Cloud pricing is flat and transparent. Enterprise pricing is negotiated honestly, not extracted.
Users before upsells
We build features because HR and sales teams need them, not because they unlock a pricing tier. If something should be in the core product, it goes in the core product.
Quality over features
We'd rather ship fewer features that work reliably than more features that are half-finished. Every module in Horilla is actively maintained by the team that built it.
